The Scriptures
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, without error in the original writings, and are the final authority for faith and practice.

God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign Ruler of all things.

Creation
We believe God created the heavens and the earth and all things visible and invisible according to His sovereign power and purpose. Humanity was uniquely created in the image of God to know Him, worship Him, and glorify Him.

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died as the substitute for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now serves as our High Priest and Advocate before the Father.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, seals, teaches, and empowers every believer for godly living and service.

Man and Sin
We believe mankind was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience. As a result, all people are born with a sinful nature, are separated from God, and stand under His righteous judgment.

Salvation
We believe salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, Christ fully accomplished the work necessary for man's redemption. Those who place their faith in Him are forgiven, justified, reconciled to God, adopted into His family, and granted eternal life.

Eternal Security
We believe that all who have been genuinely born again are eternally secure in Christ and are kept by the power of God. Salvation rests upon the finished work of Christ and the faithfulness of God, not upon human effort.

The Church
We believe the Church is the body and bride of Christ, composed of all who have trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior. The local church exists to glorify God through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, missions, and the mutual encouragement and care of believers.

Spiritual Gifts
We believe that every believer has been gifted by the Holy Spirit for ministry and service within the body of Christ. These gifts are to be exercised in love for the edification of the church and the glory of God.

Baptism and the Lord's Supper
We believe the ordinances given by the Lord to the church are water baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe baptism by immersion is the public testimony of a believer's faith in Jesus Christ and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord's Supper is a continuing remembrance of Christ's sacrificial death and a proclamation of His return. These ordinances do not impart salvation but serve as visible testimonies of God's saving grace.

Marriage, Gender, and Human Sexuality
We believe God created mankind as male and female, equal in value and dignity, yet distinct by His design. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant established by God between one man and one woman and serves as a picture of Christ's relationship with His church.

Israel and the Church
We believe God has distinct purposes for Israel and the Church within His redemptive plan. Though salvation has always been by grace through faith, God's covenant promises to Israel remain in effect and will ultimately be fulfilled according to His Word.

Satan
We believe in the existence of a personal devil, Satan, who opposes God and seeks to deceive and destroy. Though active in the present age, his defeat has been secured through the work of Jesus Christ and his final judgment is certain.

The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church. We believe that following the future tribulation, Christ will return to earth in power and glory to establish His promised millennial kingdom, fulfill God's covenant promises to Israel, and reign as King over all the earth. We further believe that God's prophetic program will be fulfilled exactly as revealed in Scripture.

Final Judgment and Eternal State
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who have trusted in Christ will enjoy everlasting fellowship with God, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God under His righteous judgment.

Our Heart
At Ukiah Bible Church, we are committed to the faithful teaching of God's Word, the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the spiritual growth of God's people. We desire to be more than a congregation that simply knows the truth; we seek to be a church family that lives the truth—loving God, caring for one another, making disciples, and bringing glory to Christ in all we do.
