We are so blessed as a church to have him and his lovely wife Connie caring for our flock. His passion is presenting Jesus and His Word. The preaching he consistently delivers is Biblically accurate, in depth, yet understandable and relevant.
You will find Pastor Dan at the pulpit every Sunday, leading Bible Studies during the week, discipling and visiting church members at every opportunity.
Raised in Sonoma County, becoming a business man, marrying, having 2 daughters and serving in Santa Rosa Bible Church was Dan and Connie's life for over 20 years before the Lord called them to full time ministry at UBC.
He was the Associate Pastor/Senior Pastor here at UBC more than 20 years ago. Then, desiring to complete his theological training, in 2002, he and his family moved to LaGrange, Wyoming to attend Frontier School of the Bible where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies.
Dan and Connie helped to plant a church in Bridgeport, Nebraska in 2004 and ministered there until 2015. It was then that the Lord presented an open door for them and us that allowed their return to UBC as our Senior Pastor.
While in Nebraska, Pastor and Connie furthered their education. Pastor Dan went on to earn his Master's Degree from Tyndale Seminary and a Doctorate of Theology from Andersonville Seminary. He and Connie both became certified counselors through Caring for the Heart Ministries headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
